  1. This is SOX-10 Patchlevel 11!

  3. I took the source from swiss, modified the files makefile.unx,
  4. smp.c, handlers.c  and compiled it with 'gcc [...] -DDOS -O2 [...]'
  5. (gcc 2.4.5 PL1) on my Atari ST. The sound extension .snd is set to
  6. headerless unsigned-linear 8-bit mono (used also by the MACs!).

  8. I ran the test-shell-scripts (tests.sh and testall.sh) coming with the
  9. source to find compilation errors. No errors so far...
  10.  
  11. Use less to read sox.man - first! Try also the following three effects
  12. not mentioned in the manual: highp, pred and reverse.

  14. Try lps v1.22 to replay sounds on your Atari ST. lps is located at
  15. ftp.uni-erlangen.de in /pub/atari/sound/players/samples/
